Just before Chinese New Year I went to the library wanting to learn more about marketing. Phlook is in the marketing phase now and I know nothing about it. So there I was standing desperately at the marketing shelves. I prayed,"Holy Spirit you must, must, MUST lead me to the right resources because Phlook is facing the urgency now!!" I don't know how to explain to you why it is so urgent, but trust me - it is URGENT! In the end God showed me 2 books. I picked them up and was reading them over CNY. I was dumbfounded - these 2 marketing books were incredible! So for the last four days, other than the visitations, my mind was occupied with marketing, marketing and more marketing.I virtually think about, consume and breathe marketing whenever I have the chance. Advertisements and commercials on TV have never looked so interesting!

Another thing which Justine and I just did over the CNY period is this little Phlook badge feature. We have all these badges which Phlook users can simply copy and paste the code to display the badges on their blogs or websites. And yes, it was me who designed them, but we thought,"Hey, why not let our users customize their own?" Creativity comes with a bang and you must waste no time to act upon it! So we got started immediately (just before CNY) and in the midst of celebrating, we managed to get it up last night. We have yet to know how well this feature will be received but the auto-generated personalized badges are so cute to me that I keep wanting to create more ... ha ha!
